The price depends on the volume and complexity of the part. A 3D file (.stl, .3mf or .obj) is required for an estimate. If you don't have a 3D file, we can help you create one before quoting for printing.
If you require a one-off piece, please note that we do not print for less than $50. This is due to the time required to prepare the files and the printer.
It all depends on the quantity required, the volume (number of grams of filament or milliliters of resin) and the complexity of the part.
For a quicker evaluation, you can e-mail us right now:
1- An STL file of your project, or a JPEG image if you don't have a 3D file
2- The dimensions of your project
3- The number of parts required
4- The delivery time
5- Any other constraints to be taken into account or finishing required.
Yes, it is possible to digitize objects or people. You need to make an appointment in advance, as this service requires specialized equipment and a few hours' work.
There are, however, certain constraints to take into account:
For objects:
1- The (original) object must be matte or mattified using a product supplied that evaporates within 24 hours,However, it is not advisable to apply it to fabrics or porous objects, as this may damage the original object.
2- Black objects are not detected, so you need to apply the mattifying product.
3- Miniature details are imperceptible (less than 0.3mm).
4- Large objects (1 cubic meter) take a little longer to digitize.
For people:
1- Hair is often impossible to digitize. They need to be retouched using 3D modeling.
2- The light emitted by the scanner is not recommended for people suffering from epilepsy.
3- Eyes must be closed.
4- You need to take a fixed break, without moving, for at least half an hour.
The cost is variable. It depends on a number of factors: 1- The size and complexity of the object to be scanned (scanning time); 2-The level of detail in the object's textures and colors; 3- Whether we need to travel (travel time and material transport costs).
